The Policy Work Group develops, clarifies, and communicates optimal policies for single-payer proposals, to be shared with OPS Advocates, partners, and legislators. Every other 1st Friday, 1:30-2:30 p.m. PT (4:30-5:30  ET). (Beginning September, 2026).

The Organization and Development Work Group creates plans for the sustainability and growth of OPS. Compiles and recommends an annual budget to support OPS education and advocacy activities. The WG meets on 1st Fridays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. PT (7:30-8:30 ET).

Education and Advocacy Work Group plans, organizes and implements actions and events to inform and mobilize the public in health care reform. The WG meets on 1st Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m. PT (7-8 ET). 

A gathering of work group chairs (or designees) and volunteers to coordinate WG goals and activities. 3rd fridays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. PT (7:30-8:30 ET)

Come to our meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5pm PST (8pm EST) to hear from experts in healthcare policy and social justice issues.

OPS members develop templates for state-based universal health plans and electoral strategies to pass legislation. The Committee meets on 4th Thursdays, 1:30-2:30 p.m. PT (4:30-5:30 ET).
